Van F. Vlahakis ObituaryFranki, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His short journey on this earth was one marked by love and compassion. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Frankie is survived by his loving mother Caridad, his sons Xavier, Cisco and Gabriel, his daughter Aaliyah, and his sister Adriana. Frankie was the cherished grandson of Teresita Lermo and he leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him dearly.
Although Frankie's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion.
Visitation will be held Thursday January 30th from 6:00 – 8:30 PM and Friday January 31st from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Prayer Service, 12:30 PM at TOHLE FUNERAL HOME 4325 W. Lawrence Ave. Chicago, IL 60630. Interment following services at Montrose Cemetery. Info 773-685-4400
