Vanessa Dale Bowie, 71, of Honea Path died Friday September 26, 2025, at her residence.
She was born in Anderson County, and she was the daughter of the late James Gary and Bertha Elizabeth Shaw Bowie. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by a son, Shawn Jordan (Joyce) and a daughter, Crystle Brock (Steve); brothers, Felix Bowie (Evelyn), David Bowie (Jean), and Lewis Bowie (Vickie); a sister, Pamela Bowie (Chevy); grandchildren, Karissa Brock (Jose), Caitlin Jordan (Lawson), Jamie Brock (Brandi), Kandis Brock, Austin McKellar, Kimberly Johnson, and Sadie Johnson; great grandchildren, Ayden, Harlow, Ethan, Bellamy, Brooklynn, Milo, Theo, and Kolton; a nephew, Chad Bowie.
She was preceded in death by son in law Travis Brock.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday September 28, 2025, at Garden of Memories with Rev. Heath Bowie officiating.
Family will receive friends prior to graveside service on Sunday from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made to carnationfoundation.org
The family will be at the home of Crystle Brock 113 Humphrey Wright Rd Honea Path SC 29654
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
