It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vanessa Hernandez, who departed this life on May 18, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the tender age of 25. Born on August 30, 1999, in Port Arthur, Texas, Vanessa graced the world with her presence and brought joy to those fortunate enough to know her.
Vanessa was an accomplished Eye Lash Technician, dedicated to her craft and beloved by her clients. She was not just a professional; she was a confidante and a friend to everyone who entered her life. Always equipped with a warm smile, Vanessa possessed a charm and warmth that brightened the lives of those around her. Her loving nature and ability to connect with others made her truly unforgettable. To know her was to love her—a sentiment echoed by all who were touched by her kindness.
A responsible and hard worker, Vanessa took great pride in her job, continually striving to uplift those around her through her passion for beauty and service. Her spirit radiated positivity; she was a friend to everyone and had an uncanny ability to never meet a stranger. Her zest for life and love for people will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Vanessa is survived by her loving parents, Juan and Maricela Hernandez, and her cherished siblings: brothers Juan Hernandez and his wife Cecilia, as well as Jesus Hernandez, and her sister Sai Hernandez. She also leaves behind a multitude of loving nieces and nephews, who will carry on her legacy of love and laughter.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home,1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather once more for a Mass to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, located at 3648 61st Street, Port Arthur, TX 77642.
The memory of Vanessa Hernandez will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her, and her legacy of friendship and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
