Dearest Soror Osborne and family,

although I did not know your great aunt personally I felt as though I did by the beautiful stories that you often shared about her. My only regret is that although we´ll intended, I never got the opportunity to meet her in person and purchase one of her beautiful hats.

Mrs. Beane´s work down here is done and now she is wearing a crown of glory given to her by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

I pray that God grants you and your family a peace and understanding that only He can during this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,

Ms. Beans will be missed by all who loved her, and she will surely be remembered. We will remember her work ethic, her fashion and style sense, her creativity, grace, elegance, and her kindness. Thank you, Ms. Beane, for sharing your millinery talents and creations with us. You are most definitely a master at your craft. Thank you also for teaching me the ‘how to” or rules of wearing hats. Your legacy will continue. You’re THE Hat Lady for sure.

Mrs Beane was a wonderful person. Sweet as she could be. I met her while I was doing a fashion show years ago and she had the hats. I did a few shows utilizing her beautiful hats, and It’s amazing I still have two that she gave me.

Condolences, prayers and Hugs for the family.

My deepest sympathy to Vanilla's family. I worked with her at GSA. She did a hat show for me in my home. She also made hats for me. She was mild mannered and had a sweet spirit. May your fond memories of her comfort you in the days ahead. Remember that we do not mourn as those without hope.

Mrs. Beane was a lovely person I met her when she was teaching at the old Bruce Monroe School. She was talented beyond belief. I followed her to her shop on 3rd Street for many many years along with my aunt who was a hat lover as well. She could make me a hat for any occasion. I am going to miss her. She had the sweetest spirit ever. I loved Mrs. Beane. May she RIP.
