I was lucky enough to see Vaughn,Scully,at San Antonio reunion after 36yrs.Was wonderful to go out and have a few drinks and bring back some memories. I was proud to have served with him. my prayers are wth the family. Ed Kraft Riv Div 534.

I worked with Vaughn Shuler at the Central Virginia Regional Jail. It was a pleasure to know and work with him. I pray that he is in the arms of God and my sincerest condolences to all of his family. He shall be missed by many.

My sincerest condolences to the Shuler family. I have known Vaughn from Gamewardens of Viet Nam. Vaughn is a hero of America, one of the long line of vets who loved America, fought for America and had her best interests in mind in everything he did. His intrepid bravery was recognized by all, including the United States government, through the Department of the Navy, and for such bravery awarded him with a bronze star for his valor in confronting the forces of communism while in combat in Viet Nam. His gallantry was proved in the brown waters of Viet Nam and his friendship for all of his comrades in Gamewardens is well known. We all shall miss Vaughn and shall pray that his loving soul shall be eternally at rest. Vaughn would have been the first to say, "As each year passes, and the ranks of Gamewardens get smaller and smaller, we shall never forget our comrades in arms, the rivers of Viet Nam, the virtues of our goals in combat and that it was an honor to serve our country."

Theresa,I was shocked to read about Mr. Shuler's death. I always enjoyed seeing you and Mr. Shuler come into the office to see Dr. Knight. He always had a smile for me and often called me "Sunshine." I will never forget that smile and kindness you both always showed. God Bless and my prayers are with you.

Aunt Terry and the rest of our family, simple words like i'm sorry to hear about your loss don't quite cut it at a time like this but please remember he was a great man and will always remain in all our hearts..if there is anything i can do or dad can do for you let us know please..again our deepest sympathy

Our deepest condolences for all of vaughn shuler's family. My husband, rob and I will always remember him and a very direct and funny man. He will never be forgotten. We send hugs and kisses to u all in your time of need, especially our nephews, ian and alex shuler and their dad robert shuler.

Theresa and family, Fran and I were so hurt with the news of Vaughn leaving us; he is now on an eternal "patrol" watching over us. We are so sorry for your loss.

Donna and I are so sorry at your loss. I could not believe it when EM told me. Vaughn looked so good when I saw him a few weeks ago at Toot's funeral. What a double tragedy for you. Please, although we are so far apart, if there is anything that we can do, let us know.
