Vella Fatkin Obituary
Mrs. Fatkin was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from civil service at Fort Knox. Vella's passion for life was evident in the joy she took in spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. "Larry" Fatkin Sr.; and two sons, Larry Fatkin Jr. and Scott Fatkin.
Mrs. Fatkin is survived by three sons, Mark (Debbie) Fatkin, Neil (Natasha) Fatkin and Eldridge Fatkin; one daughter, Dena (Kevin) Kelbaugh; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Mona, Bill, Ivan and Jim; and a host of extended family and friends.
The funeral for Mrs. Fatkin is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
