Velma Mae Smith, 81, Daughter of Roy and Ruby Smith, died Monday, 24th of February 2025 at the Hospice Care Center at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on October 31, 1943. She worked at White Castle 40 years as a loyal employee.
She is preceded in death by her father Roy B. Smith, mother Ruby Edith Smith, sister Joyce Smith, brother Ervin Smith, and sister Glenda Armes.
She is survived by her sisters, Peggy Spence, Goldie Leigh, Faye Carroll and Imogene Spencer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Clark officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 1 PM Saturday, March 1, 2025 until time for services at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
