We are deeply saddened by the death of our beloved, "Cousin Vera." We just found out a couple of days ago. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers! Sis. Vera Holmes was an excellent Sunday School Teacher at Greater Community Temple - North. Very kind, sweet Lady and on fire for the Lord. I loved her dearly.

My condolences to the family.
Over a 10 year period, and under unlikely circumstances, I got to know Ms Vera as a friend and a mother. We shopped, cooked, ate, planted flowers and went for TCBY, her favorite. She always got vanilla, 2 scoops and nothing more. She would say "this is the best ice cream ever", and I would say, "I think we are going to live now"! She would laugh and laugh while we sat under the shade tree and enjoyed our treat while talking about the kids.
She would always say, "let´s do this again sometime."! Today, I honor your memory and celebrate you by planting some flower seeds and going to TCBY. Love you Ms Vera!
