Vera Joseph Obituary
Albany - Vera Lorrance Joseph, 59, of Albany, passed away peacefully on November 24th, 2025. She was born on February 10th, 1966 to parents Mary Virginia Jones and Ahygia Jones Sr. in Bronx NY. She was a devoted parent and proud graduate of Evander Childs High School 1984.
Vera loved dancing and being with her family. Her passion was as a loving caregiver. Taking care of others and opening her home to anyone in need. Vera’s smile could brighten the darkest of rooms and even when faced with hardship, she always found a reason to smile.
She is survived by her 7 (children) Darnell Jamison, Marquis Joseph, Ahygia Jones, Marcus Jones, Davaughn Jones, Cheyenne Joseph, Leilani Jones; (siblings) Monte Jones, Joyce Jones Woods, Linette Jones, Geoge Jones Sr. and was preceded in death by (parents & siblings) Mary Jones, Ahygia Jones Sr., Donald Jones, Ahygia Jones Jr.
Services will be held at Cannon Funeral Homes, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie on Saturday, December 6th at 12 noon. Visitation is from 11 am to 12 noon at the funeral home. To leave a message of condolence for the family, visit www.CannonFuneral.com
