Vera Lucia Guaraldo Carneiro, born on May 23rd, 1942, departed from this world on May 2nd, 2024. She was a woman ahead of her times, a beacon of love, kindness and grace to all who knew her.

Vera's spirit was ever-moving, finding solace and joy in tending to her garden, nurturing life and inspiring those around her to continue learning and evolving. Her legendary culinary creations from Cannelloni to Tiramisu were a testament to her love for her family and her passion for cooking. She delighted in sharing her skills with her children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories around the kitchen table.

Music was the soundtrack of Vera's life, infusing every moment with rhythm and melody. She shared her passion for music with her loved ones, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

An advocate for nature and lover of animals, Vera found peace and serenity by the ocean, where she felt most connected to the world around her.

Vera's unwavering support and encouragement uplifted all who crossed her path, leaving behind a legacy of love and empowerment.

Vera was someone who always thought of everyone first before herself. She knew what someone needed much before asking. She was part of the best and most challenging parts of our lives and did it with so much love and care. She endured difficult times with so much grace and determination; always with a smile saying " we will be okay".

Vera leaves behind her loving husband, three children and their spouses, cherished grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends who were touched by her love and grace.

Her absence leaves an ache in our hearts that words cannot express. We find peace in knowing that her love will continue to guide us, and memories will bring us comfort and her legacy will live on through the lives you've touched.

A memorial service to honor Vera's life will be held at the Chateau at Larkin Sunset Gardens in 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road Sandy, UT, on May 15th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
