VERL YERGENSEN 07/20/1943 - 11/02/2025 Twin Falls, ID: Verl Dee Tillberg Yergensen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 20, 1943, in Richfield, Utah, to Axel Yergensen and Vida DeMille, Verl lived an exemplary life, defined by his kindness, integrity, and Christlike love. He served others quietly and wholeheartedly, was quick to lend a helping hand or offer a warm embrace and always chose to see the best in those around him. His legacy of faith, hard work, and genuine compassion is a treasured gift to his posterity and all who were blessed to know him. Verl married Connie Conder on May 11, 1962, in Las Vegas; they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 3, 1963. Together they raised eight children, who all lead successful lives. He was a sportsman, a business man, a leader in his church, and a true disciple of Jesus Christ. He is survived by his sweetheart, Connie Yergensen; his children Russell (Lisa) Yergensen, Julie (Galen) Staley, Elizabeth (Brian) Cox, Jay Dee (Marcella) Yergensen, Curtis (Laura) Yergensen, Katie (Kerry Clifton) Estrada, Brent (Celeste) Yergensen, and Joseph (Jessica) Yergensen; 34 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Melbourne (Helena) Yergensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Axel and Vida Yergensen; brother Karl (Toni) Yergensen, and sister Lillie Yergensen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Magelby Mortuary in Richfield, Utah. Viewings will be held Thursday evening, November 13, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rosenau Funeral Home in Twin Falls, and prior to the funeral from 11:30 am through 12:30 p.m. at the Magelby Mortuary in Richfield, Utah.
