Vern Sargent Obituary
UNION TOWNSHIP - Vern Steven Sargent, age 75, passed away on March 7, 2025. He was born on May 27, 1949, to the late James and Helen (nee Kihnley) Sargent. Vern was the devoted husband of Pam Sargent (nee Dunn); loving father of Tracie Sargent and Jason (Rebecca) Sargent; cherished grandfather of Tyler (Abby) Sargent, Dylan Sargent, and Lillian Sargent; dear brother of Barbara (the late Ron) Rahe, Ron (the late Nora) Sargent, and the late James (surviving Carol) Sargent; and uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 10:30AM until 12PM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio 45244. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Vern's honor may be made to either The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society or the Myasthenia Gravis Association.
