DAVID, Verna M. - of Fenton, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 13, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church, 7306 E. Atherton Rd., Davison. Pastors John Lewis, Gary Gearhart and Michael Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of service Monday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to Faith Baptist Church Missionary Fund. Mrs. David was born in Pennsylvania on July 23, 1923. She had lived in the Fenton area for four years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Surviving are: children, James (Marian) David of Gladwin, Patricia J. (Ronald) Lawrence of Spring Grove, PA, Tina E. (Roger) Bennett of Fenton, Naomi R. Nolen of LaGrange, GA, Deborah L. (Frank) Caudle of Severn, MD, Rachel L. (Donald) Tompkins of Coldwater; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; nieces and nephews.
