Verna Westbrook "Big Verna" Doss

What a wonderful lady!! Mrs. Verna was one of the very first patients I met when I became Dr. Kinley's nurse and what a pleasure. From that moment on I looked forward to each coming visit. She bubbled over with warmth,love, and laughter no matter what the situation was at hand. I look forward to meeting her again!

My most heart felt feelings go out
to all of the family..especially
David and Sue..my long time friends
and class mates. Your Mom was
there for our family in 1961 at the
death of our mother. For this I
will always be greatful to her.

Hang in there we all must face
these times with our heads up high.

We saw the obit this morning and
wanted to send our love and
prayers. We're both recovering
from pneumonia and can't come to
visitation or services but we're
thinking of you!

Today, my family and I share in the
lost of a treasure in our
community. Ms. Verna was very
important to me as a child. She
was a Sunday School teacher of
mine. When I was older, I mowed
her yard for years.



Then, we worked together at
Andersons. We have share many good
times together.



My heart is sadden because of our
loss but we know beyond a shadow of
doubt where Ms. Verna is this very
minute. May God richly bless you
in the days and weeks ahead. Our
prayers as well as our thoughts are
with you, the family.
