Verna Eshleman Obituary
Verna was born on January 9, 1932, to Marvin Daniel Glidewell and Ruby Varden Wilson in Canehill, AR. She married Johnny Calvin "JC" Eshleman on September 16, 1951 in Clovis, NM. Verna enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and canning goods. She made wedding cakes, crocheted and quilted. Verna worked in the funeral industry for 25 years.
Survivors include her daughters; Ruby Hester of Clovis, NM, Johnnie Rider (Clint) of Georgetown TX, Judy Steinbock (Terry) Lazbuddie, TX, daughters-in-law; Charlene Eshleman of Grier, NM, Jana Eshleman of Grier, NM, brothers; Donald Glidewell of Clovis, NM, and Larry Glidewell of Albuquerque, NM, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Marvin Daniel Glidewill and Ruby Varden Wilson, three sons; Jimmy Eshleman, Billy Eshleman, and Danny Eshleman, grandson; John Eshleman, son-in-law; Butch Hester, four sisters; Joanne Burger, Leona Fahnert, Louella Templeman and Erma Andrae, three brothers; J.D. Glidewell, Sugar Glidewell, and Gene Glidewell.
