I love Great Grandma,I'm doing great in high school now and I even made a ofrenda of you. Ive been thinking about you recently,I love you grandma Verna!

There are too many memories of Mrs. Frederick to choose from, but the first one that comes to mind is the way she treated me as if I was a part of her family. Her kindness was above reproach and I admired the way she put family first. She even scolded her children, as well as myself, in front of me. She shared her secrets of life with Monica and me. I raise a toast to Mrs. Frederick (I was taught to respect my elders and find it difficult to call her Verna) and to life.

Mrs. Frederick treated me like a daughter. She always made me feel like I was part of the family. I will miss her. She raised a wonderful family.
