Vernetta enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren). She was employed for over 30 years at Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Brownsville, TN.
Vernetta leaves to cherish three children Michael (Robin) Taylor of Louisville, KY; Carlos Singleton of Naples, FL; and Donquetta Singleton of Collierville, TN. She also leaves one sister Luanne Singleton of Little Rock, AR; four brothers, John Singleton of Jackson, TN; Leon (Carmen) Singleton of San Antonio, TX; Derrick Singleton of Jackson, TN; Jason (Jeannette) Singleton of Auburndale, FL and a very special friend Andre Pendergrass Jr. of Brownsville, TN.
Vernetta leaves behind 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and many friends. She was preceded in death by siblings Diane Nixon, Dan Singleton Jr., Joyce Singleton and Stanley Singleton.
The Singleton family would like to express its sincere thanks to everyone during this time of bereavement. Thank you for all the calls, prayers, and acts of kindness. It is greatly appreciated. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.
