Was thinking of the Hines family just a few days earlier... while at THS, Vernon and Walter were good friends and outstanding athletes...while Walter and I had a bond since junior high, Vernon was the big brother to both of us...I remember his leather vest while he performed with Marvin Hamilton, Steve Romero and others in their band...much love to all...
