Vernon Lowery Obituary
Vernon Wilbur Lowery, 75, of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. Mr. Lowery was born on August 15, 1947 in Benton County TN to the late Vernon Lowery and the late Lois Harris Lowery. He was also preceded by brothers Raymond Lowery and Clarence Lowery; sisters Betty Wheatley, Wilma Pierpoint, Gertrude Barrett, Jewel Bole and Mary Clark. Mr. Lowery was retired from TVA at New Johnsonville, TN with over 28 years of service. He was a Veteran of the US Army and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Wife: Judy Lowery of Big Sandy, TN
Daughters: Terri (Kelly) Quillin of Columbia, TN
Christy (Steve) Pierpoint of Big Sandy, TN
Sister: Marie Berry of Big Sandy, TN
Grandchildren: Logan Pierpoint, Makayla (Enrique) Trujillo, Clay Quillin, Karli Quillin
Great Grandchildren: Remy, Kinsley, Kaiden
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2 PM at McRaes Chapel Outdoorsman Baptist Church in Big Sandy, TN with Bro. Kenny Louden officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
