Vernon Rayburn Obituary

Vernon Lewis "Vern" Rayburn II, 81, of Cranberry Township, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, while under the care of Embassy of Saxonburg.
Born July 21, 1944, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of the late Vernon Lewis Rayburn and Flo McKinney Rayburn.
Vern proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Carol L. Knobloch Rayburn; his four sons, Roger Rayburn, Brian (Kelli) Rayburn, Jeffrey Rayburn and Eric Rayburn; his eight grandchildren; and his brother, Roy "Jimmy" Rayburn.
In addition to his parents, Vern was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Wear.
RAYBURN - Services for Vernon Lewis "Vern" Rayburn II, who died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, will be held privately by his family.
He will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
