Vernon “Super Vern” LeBlanc Jr., a lifelong resident of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. Born on September 16, 1958, to Edith Gautreau LeBlanc and Vernon Joseph LeBlanc Sr.
Vern always carried a smile and lived life to the fullest. If you knew him, you loved him. He treasured time spent with his family and grandchildren. He loved being on the water, especially when he could fish—and he took great pride in his 47-year career at Chem Spray, where he enjoyed driving an airboat.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Terrilyn Dupuy LeBlanc; his sons, Shelton (Amy) and Corey; his daughter, Kattye; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, and Aleigh. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Dorothy Kinchen Dupuy; his sister, Cheryl LeBlanc; his brother-in-law, Dean Berteau; and his step-siblings, Delia “Dee” Holley, Dineen Goree, and Tara Tarver. He leaves behind many beloved friends and family members, including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon LeBlanc Sr.; his mother, Edith LeBlanc; his stepfather, Thom Holley Sr.; his children, Heidi and Scotty LeBlanc; his sisters, Nonna Berteau and Darlene Landry; his step-siblings, Tommie Holley and Thom Holley Jr.; and his father-in-law, Shelton “Papa Shelt” Dupuy.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Fellowship Church, 14363 Highway 73, Prairieville, LA 70767. Visitation will take place from 3:00–5:00 PM, followed by a service at 5:00 PM.
