Vernon Charles Tucker

Vernon C. Tucker brought joy, love and laughter to everyone who knew him. On November 2, 2025, after a quick battle with Glioblastoma (GBM), he entered eternal rest surrounded by family and loved ones. Vernon achieved many amazing accomplishments during his 45 years, with his greatest accomplishment being his son, Jaxson. Vernon would often say that he "felt like a millionaire" because he was rich with love, rich with family, rich with friends, and rich with his second greatest accomplishment - his hard earned career as a respected attorney in defending those who could not defend themselves. Vernon is survived by his son Jaxson Tucker, mother Catherine Coyne Tucker, father Donald Tucker (Linda), sister Samantha Tucker (George), girlfriend Cailley, fur babies Mia and Mocha, countless family members, and cherished lifelong friends - whom he considered family.
As brilliant as Vernon's mind was, the way he went about living life was even more so. He lived life to the absolute fullest. He pushed the boundaries. He helped the helpless. He would quite literally give you the shirt off of his back if you asked him for it - no questions asked. That's just who Vernon was. So caring, so humble, so loving, so funny, so giving, so kind.
Vernon's Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026 as May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month. Further details will be available as we get closer to that date. In lieu of flowers to the family, we ask that you instead consider a donation to the Glioblastoma Research Organization in honor of a life well lived and a soul well loved. Vern will never be forgotten, because he is truly unforgettable. A one-of-a-kind gem of a soul, the type you only meet once in a lifetime.
