Veronica (Ronny) Amerson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2025. Born on January 29, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pa, to the late Nathaniel Mason and Mildred James, Ronny was a woman of strength and conviction. Educated in the Philadelphia public school system, she later earned an associate's degree in Mental Health counseling. Among her many accomplishments, Ronny was especially proud of her journey as an entrepreneur, fulfilling a lifelong dream by opening her own clothing boutique. Her shop was more than a business; it was a reflection of her style, independence, and commitment to empowering others.
Ronny was known for her honesty, fierce independence, and unwavering support for those she loved. Her presence filled every room, and her laughter lingered long after she left. She leaves behind three devoted sons, Carlos, Rafael, and Shaul, who were her pride and joy; five cherished biological grandchildren, Naji, Lil Shaul (Yasir), Delynn, Zaheem, and Amir; two dearly loved step-grandchildren, Roshaun and Ruqaiya; and three adored great-grandchildren, Miracle, Acyrus, and Azur'e Milan. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Ivan, whose passing left a profound mark on her heart. Those who love her take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Ivan, together again in peace.
