Veronica Buck Obituary
Public viewing 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Davis Funeral Home – Bolivia, 1705 Southport-Supply Road SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.
A celebration of Veronica's life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 6401 Ocean Highway E, Winnabow, NC 28479.
Interment will follow at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Arielle N. Price and Ameliana S. Price both of the home; mother, Retha H. Buck of Bolivia, NC; brother, Michael K. Buck (Felisa) of Boiling Spring Lakes, NC; maternal grandmother, Quilla M. Holden; maternal grandfather, William Lee Holden both of Bolivia and a host of other relatives and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Veronica was one of my first students I taught in P.E at Southport Elementary and had the privilege to teach her beautiful daughters. She was a wonderful caring and loving mother and woman of God! I loved her sweet hugs and our encouraging and uplifting talks about Jesus! She will be truly missed. I have the peace and reassurance knowing she is with our Lord and Savior and I will one day get that Big hug again!
I will be praying for Ariel and Ameliana for the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort them in the days ahead. You are so loved!

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Veronica was my neighbor but most of all she was like family to me. She was a beautiful person. She will forever be in my heart. I will miss her random uplifting messages that would always brighten my day. She was truly a light in this dark world. May God bless her family in this time of grief and always.

I was so sad to learn of Veronica´s passing. She was a sweet, kind, caring soul, & a devoted mother who loved her daughters & family beyond words. Arielle, Ameliana, & Ms. Retha, I´m so very sorry for your loss. I pray you draw comfort in knowing she´s healed & in the arms of her Father! She loved Jesus w/all of her heart. I am lifting you in prayer.
