Veronica Ann Schweitzer

Veronica Toothman Schweitzer, 77, of Farmington, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025.
She was born on July 20, 1948, to the late Odus and Mary Toothman. Veronica was a lifelong learner and earned her degree in education from Fairmont State University. While her academic achievements were a point of pride, she ultimately found her true calling working in the retail profession, where her genuine love for people and natural warmth shone through. Veronica never met a stranger and had a gift for making others feel seen, welcomed, and valued.
Above all, Veronica cherished her family. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Mitchell (Nathan), and her treasured grandson, Gage Mitchell, who brought her immense joy and pride.
A special thank you goes out to Veronica's first cousin, Nancy Jameson, for the care, compassion, and unwavering support she provided during Veronica's illness. Her kindness and presence meant more than words can express.
Veronica will be remembered for her kindness, her engaging spirit, and the meaningful connections she made throughout her life.
