Viana Rae Parras

Our beautiful, beloved Viana Rae Parras of Fort Stockton, TX left this world on December 26, 2022, for her Angel place in Heaven.
Viana was born in Fort Stockton to Glenn and Patricia Parras on June 6, 1998,
A kind, caring, loving and creative soul, Viana was a brilliant light who touched everyone who was lucky enough to meet her. As stubborn as she was kind, she would do anything she set her mind to.
She attended Fort Stockton High School where she further developed a love for art and cultivated lifelong friendships. After graduating high school in 2016, Viana enrolled at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX and earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science following her older brother's footsteps. Viana was an avid animal lover raising "Lumi and Akela" her dogs and a beloved parakeet "Birdie". This included working at the Alpine Vet Clinic while attending university. After graduating, Vi began a series of pet portraits, lovingly creating memorialized paintings for friends and family, and had recently discovered a passion for creating tattoo artwork through an apprenticeship.
Viana is preceded in death by her mother Pat.
She is survived by her older brother Vincent, sister-in-law Elizabeth, brother Ashton, father Glenn, grandparents Joe & Nora Parras and Elodia Garcia, loving aunts & uncles Yvonne & Rafa Realivasquez, Melissa & Wayne Hoefler, and Jacob Garcia, cousin Garrett Hoefler and scores of more family and friends.
Rosary and funeral services were held at Heritage Funeral Home 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735 on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
She was laid to rest next to her mother
