Vicente Colon Collazo

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Vicente Colon Collazo (June), who left us on October 20, 2025. Leaving behind 5 kids, 5 grandkids and two great grandchildren, as well as 8 sister and two brothers and many nieces and nephews.

June was a happy, bubbly person who lit up every place he went. His laughter was contagious, his energy unforgettable, and his kindness genuine. He had a special way of making everyone feel seen and valued, which naturally drew people to him. June’s great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh helped him form friendships wherever he went. He was always there for anyone in need, never hesitating to lend a helping hand whenever he could.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Iglesia La Luz Del Mundo. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Iglesia La Luz Del Mundo, 87 Lafayette St, Pontiac, MI 48342. Interment to follow at Perry Mount Park Cemetery. 

Con profunda tristeza compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro querido Vicente Colón Collazo (June), quien nos dejó el 20 de octubre de 2025. Deja a 5 hijos, 5 nietos y dos bisnietos, así como a 8 hermanas y dos hermanos, y a numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.

June era una persona alegre y vivaz que iluminaba cada lugar que visitaba. Su risa era contagiosa, su energía inolvidable y su bondad genuina. Tenía una manera especial de hacer que todos se sintieran vistos y valorados, lo que naturalmente atraía a la gente hacia él. El gran sentido del humor de June y su capacidad para hacer reír a la gente le ayudaron a forjar amistades dondequiera que iba. Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a quien lo necesitara, sin dudarlo en tender una mano cuando podía.

La familia recibirá a los amigos para el velorio el jueves 13 de noviembre de 2025 de 11:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. en la Iglesia La Luz del Mundo. El funeral se llevará a cabo el jueves 13 de noviembre de 2025 a la 1:00 pm en la Iglesia La Luz Del Mundo, 87 Lafayette St, Pontiac, MI 48342. El entierro se realizará a continuación en el cementerio Perry Mount Park.
