Vicki Carol Cook Keene

Vicki Carol Cook Keene, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, July 7, 2025, at her residence.
Memorial graveside services will be held 2 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Bryan Luke officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the services.
Mrs. Keene was born January 26, 1947, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Harvey Earl & Annie Virue Fender Cook. She was a 1965 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mrs. Keene worked for Wal-Mart as a Pharmacy Technician and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Edwin Keene; children and their spouses, Karen & John Paul Martin, Karla & Hank Collier and Kimberly & Bill Hockensmith; grandchildren, Brandon Cotterman, Brianna & Logan Turnmire, Kameron & Mari Kathryn Bruce, Karsen Bruce, Tanner Collier, Trevor Collier, Tucker Collier, Kailyn Hockensmith and Kinsley Hockensmith; great grandchildren; Logan Harper, Landon Cotterman and Zaybree Cotterman; sister-in-law, Laura Jones; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers: David Jones and Charles "Chuck" Jones; and a sister, Patricia Cook Wheeless.
The family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude's Place Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of Mrs. Keene.
