Vicki Lehman, 79, of Aberdeen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born August 14th, 1945 in Malad, ID to Sherman and Margie Pierce. She was the third of five children. She grew up on the family farm in Malad until they moved to Aberdeen in 1955. She attended Aberdeen High School where she met the love of her life Robert Lehman. They were married on November 11, 1961. They welcomed a son Russell in 1962 and a daughter Colette in 1967.
She was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved to share all her cooking and baking with all her family. Trips to the family cabin in Island Park and trips with her husband and parents to California, Arizona, and Branson Missouri were some of her favorites and highlights in her life. She enjoyed many summers teaching the grandkids how to milk cows and drive tractors. Her grandkids and great grandkids were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Lehman; son Russell (Lauri) Lehman; daughter Colette (Rob) Thompson; five grandchildren, Nikelle (Nate) Villalobos, Kilee (Tyrel) Hill, Lexie (Kade) Keller, Clark (Trish) Thompson, Carson (Megan) Thompson; six great grandkids Tytan, Evelyn, Drake, Taisley, Thomas, and Charlie; her siblings Sterling (Connie) Pierce, Jan (Jerry) Lehman, Judy Dayley, and Melanie (Terry) Behunin. She was preceded in death by her parents Sherman and Margie Pierce and mother and father-in-law Lydia and William Lehman.
A visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Monday March 17th at The First Mennonite Church in Aberdeen.
