Vicki Lynn Woolard Crumpler, 64, of Wilson passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway West, Wilson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, prior to the service from 1- 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home.
Vicki was born and raised in Washington, NC where she graduated from Washington High School and cheered for the PamPack. Most of her career she spent working for Wilson County Schools, where she met many lifelong friends.
Vicki could be described as her son’s biggest cheerleader. She loved watching them play sports growing up and anything else they set their minds to accomplish. She loved her grandchildren as well and her fur-grandson Cocoa. Another passion of hers was the beach and being on the family boat “Our Treasure”.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, married February 14, 1987, Marshall Crumpler; son, Zachary Crumpler (Miranda); son, Jordan Crumpler (Janet Avalos); grandson, Sawyer Crumpler; granddaughter, Nora Kate Crumpler; granddaughter, Adaline Crumpler; grandson, Bowen Crumpler; grandson, Harker Crumpler expected in March; fur-grandson, Cocoa Crumpler; brother, John Charles Woolard (Tricia); brother in-law, David Crumpler (Shari); nephew, Michael Crumpler; father in-law, Marshall Woodard Crumpler Jr.; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; father, William (Billy) Earl Woolard and mother, Monnia Jay Singleton Woolard, as well as her brother, Billy Jay Woolard.
