Vickie Lynn Bass

Vickie Lynn Bass, age 72, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 9, 1952. She graduated from Madison High School in Madison, Tennessee. Vickie loved her family more than anything and was a wonderful mother. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Shoemake; and grandmother, Effie Shoemake. Vickie is survived by her loving sons, Jason Leonard (Faye) and Michael Avent (Stephanie); grandchildren, Nate Hicks (Elyssa), Justin Leonard (Jill), Billy Paterson, Tinsley Paterson; Kennedi Buhler, Jayden Leonard, Mitchell Green, and Maddi Avent; great grandchildren, Skylar Maddox and Maizy Leonard; and dear friend Mary Johnson. Her wishes were for cremation. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm at Bethlehem Community Center located at 1508 Highway 12 North, Ashland City, Tennessee 37015.
