Vickie Lynn Miles Eason

Vickie Lynn Miles Eason, 67, of Gates, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

A native of Norfolk, VA, Vickie was the wife of the late Gurney Milton Eason, Jr. Eason and the daughter of Roger Dean Miles, Sr. and Audrey Elizabeth Benners Stowers, both deceased. Vickie thoroughly enjoyed her time making crafts, baby sitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Mackinna Gallagher and her husband, Danny, and Krystal Eason; seven grandchildren, Addyson Hancock, Danny Gallagher, Jr., Aiden Hancock, Rayne Gallagher, Lucas Gallagher, Kade Posey, and Noel Gallagher; sister, Helen D’Amuro; and brother, Roger Dean Miles.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Miles.

Funeral services celebrating Vickie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Chapel, Gatesville, NC with Pastor Kenny Matthews officiating. Interment will be private at the Gallagher Family Cemetery. The family will greet friends with a reception at Somerton United Methodist Church, 8610 Whalleyville Blvd., Suffolk, VA 23438 immediately following the service at the funeral home.
