Vickie Fitzgerald of Gillette, Wyoming passed away surrounded by her loving family, on September 22, 2025, at the age of 68. Vickie was born on August 14, 1957, to LaVonne and Bob Roebuck. She was one of six children and grew up in Alliance, Nebraska.
She was married and had her first daughter Katherine (Kathy) in 1977 and later divorced. In 1981, she met the love of her life, Rick Fitzgerald, and they married in 1983. Together they had a daughter, Heather, in 1986.
In 1992, they moved to Gillette, Wyoming. Vickie became the proud owner of Powder River Espresso in 2002, which will continue to be run by her daughter, Heather. Vickie loved traveling and spending time at the ocean, hoping to spot sea turtles. She loved camping and spending time outdoors as well. She loved playing cards and cornhole, especially when she won. She made many amazing memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Rick, her daughters, Katherine (Mark) Peters, Jessica (Shea) Vrbka, Heather (Brandon) Rogers, ten grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, and sister.
Family was everything to Vickie and she was everything to them. She will be dearly missed.
