Vickie Elaine Johnson

Vickie Elaine Thompson Johnson, age 68, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away peacefully March 17, 2024 at her residence.  She was born April 5, 1955 to the late Franklin Roosevelt Thompson and Viola Summers Thompson in Gallatin, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robbie Thompson; her sister, Freda Hughes and her mother-in-law, Golie Gregory.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Ronnie Wayne Gregory; her children, Tammy Thurman, Kristy (Bubba) Gross, Melanie (James) Sherwin; her step daughters, Rhonda Whitaker and Leslie (Eric) Pruitt; her grandchildren, Amber Staggs, Dillian and Bradley Gross, Katelyn Gross, Hunter Gross, Lexie Sherwin, Ericca Sherwin, Fischer Whitaker, Carly Whitaker, Trevor Rudder, Ryan Rudder, Hunter Pruitt and Valerie Sherwin; as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be conducted on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Graves officiating.  Interment will follow in the Siloam Cemetery.  Serving as active pallbearers will be Ronnie Gregory, Bubba Gross, Bradley Gross, Dillian Gross, Hunter Gross and James Sherwin.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 19th from 12PM till 7PM and on Wednesday, March 20th from 9AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, TN, with the funeral arrangements of their loved one.
