Vickie Ann Vannaman 72, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away surrounded by her family, Thursday June 15, 2023 at her home in St. Joseph. She was born January 27, 1951. Attended Lafayette High School. On January 26, 1980 she married Randy Vannaman and he survives of the home. She was the manager at Shop and Hop, also worked many years as a CNA. She was a former member of the King Hill Baptist Church, Journey Baptist.
Vickie took great pride in watching all the kids sports events, was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, playing cards, games, crocheting, dancing, motorcycles, and boating on the Missouri River. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, the late Rose (William)Fowler and Bill Mitchell. She is survived by husband, Randy Vannaman of the home, children: Michelle (Darryl) Hundley, Muscotah, KS. Brandi (Jason) Lasley, Jeremy (Gwen) Hoffman, Tiffany (Tia) Hoffman all of St Joseph, Mo. David (Tamara) Vannaman, Jacksonville, FL. Marlys Foster, St. Joseph, MO. Jan (Robby) Vannaman-Stagner of Savannah, MO and Justice (Gaige) Wilson, Stewartsville, MO, sister, Linda (Lewis) Francis, Stewartsville, MO, brothers, Ronnie (Deborah) Mitchell of St. Joseph, MO, Bill (Christy) Mitchell of Sylva, NC and Randy (Heather) Mitchell of Stewartsville, MO, 22 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Rupp Funeral Home, memorial services following at 7:00 pm. She will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to The Carnegie Branch of the St Joseph Public Library.
