Vicky Marimon Obituary
SILVER LAKE - Vicky Lynn Marimon, 68, passed away September 14, 2025.
Born in Amherst, she was a resident of Silver Lake since 1985. Vicky graduated summa cum laude from Akron University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Textiles and Clothing.
Vicky was very caring and passionate about everything she put her heart into. She valued capturing memories through photos of her family. Vicky attended The Chapel in Akron and was an active participant in Adult Bible Fellowship. She was also active in various youth grief support groups.
As a stay-at-home mother to seven children and many cats, she devoted herself to her family. Vicky had a lifelong love of shopping and a remarkable talent for finding bargains. She took pride in her collections of Precious Moments figurines, dolls, and various other items over the years. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking and baking, with specialties that included her famous Polish Lasagna, Mildred salad, brownies, and Christmas cookies.
Preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Florence Raymond; sons, Nathan Marimon and Tyler Marimon, and brothers, Dean Raymond and Daryl Raymond, she is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas (Tom) Marimon; sons, Ryan, Todd, and Justin Marimon; daughters, Kristyn and Mackenzie Marimon; grandson, Rishi Marimon; granddaughter, Ruhi Marimon; daughter-in-law, Riddhi Shah; brother, Dale Raymond, and sisters, Arlene Worcester, Sue Martin, and Kelly Raymond-Anderson.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.
Memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 19, 2025, at The Chapel (Memorial Chapel), 135 Fir Hill, Akron 44304.
