Kate:
I was so sorry to learn about Victor´s passing. It has been decades since I´ve seen either of you (I worked with Victor at the Martin Organization), but I thought of you both often, always with a smile. Victor had such an had such a great sense of humor, I always enjoyed talking with him. And you both were invariably kind to me. Please know you will be in my prayers. Rest in peace Victor.

I am very sorry to hear of Butch´s passing. We met during Orientation Week as Freshmen in September of 1963. We both resided in Nittany #33 dorm and we´re both enrolled in the Architectural Engineering program. Not sure how a Streetwise kid from the Mainline and a dairy farmer from Mercer County found so many ways to enjoy each others company, but glad we did. Butch transferred to Architecture later being the more creative of the two of us and I stayed in AE crunching numbers. Happy to hear he had a very successful career. My condolences to Dave, Mary and Troop.

My sincere sympathy to the entire Barr family. Our families were neighbors on Woodbine Avenue where "Butchy" and I grew up. We were good friends back in grade school. In more recent years, we had the chance to reconnect at our annual Lourdes class get togethers. I always looked forward to seeing him!
I will miss him.

There is no denying that my brother Vic (but always "Butch" to me) was quite the character. I have fond memories of him with our family on Woodbine Avenue in Overbrook and in Ocean City, NJ during the summers. Butch always pushed the boundaries, no doubt my siblings would attest to this. His sense of humor was one of his greatest attributes as was his creativity. The last "Siblings´ Day," Butch sent the photo attached to all of us (including his brother David and my sisters Rita and Mary). His last text to us was on October 5th, when he asked, "What kind of soap did we use when we were kids?" To this day, I can´t answer that question. These are just two examples where he continued to touch us all. He will be forever in our memories and I wish his children Keely, Brendan, Mary Victoria and his three grandchildren carry his memory in their hearts.

Dear Kate ,
Vic was blessed when you came into His life.Seems like yesterday but for almost 40 years you shared a remarkable journey. Reconnecting with Vic in the middle of our lives had to be Gods plan for our Friendship and was a blessing to both of us. My respect and love and admiration for your Husband is a cherished memory . Our professional lives went down different roads but the bond we shared from Overbrook to Ocean City as kids to our coffee conversations on his life with you and Mary Victoria were always the most important part of our visits together. To me, you became His mission to be the best Husband and Father and his Life as Architect and Businessman was a way to fulfill the Love for you and Mary Victoria . I was blessed to know His love of Family and His diligence and perseverance to make VLBJR Architects a World class Firm.
May the Joys and memories of your lives together sustain and comfort you as our Lord Jesus welcomes Him home

To Vic Family my deepest sympathy. I went to Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Thomas More with Vic. Growing up we call him Butch. In the later years, I call on Vic, he was a customer of mine. Vic talked about his daughter any time I was with him. He was very funny person. At are last Lady of Lourdes dinner we sat at the same table. Funny as ever. Rest in Peace Vic Your Friend Bill Ficco
