Victor Felan Castañeda, Sr. March 28, 1952 - January 26, 2026
Victor Felan Castañeda, Sr., entered eternal rest on January 26, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on March 28, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, to Albert Castañeda and Victoria Felan.
In 1971, Victor married his beloved wife, Yolanda, and together they were blessed with four children: Victor Jr., Ricky, JoAnna, and Vincent. For more than 30 years, Victor worked as a self-employed general contractor and business owner. His strong work ethic and dedication to his craft live on through his sons, who continue the trade he so proudly built.
Victor will be remembered for his generous heart, warm sense of humor, and his willingness to give selflessly to others. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel loved, accepted, and truly seen. Through his words and actions, Victor reminded those around him to remain positive, to care deeply for one another, and to never take life or its blessings for granted.
A faithful servant of God, Victor was a devoted member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where he served as an usher, and he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. His Catholic faith guided his life and remained a constant source of strength, comfort, and purpose, especially as he cherished time with his growing family.
Victor is lovingly survived by his wife, Yolanda; his children, Victor Jr., Ricky, JoAnna, and Vincent; eight cherished grandchildren; and two adored great-grandchildren. As one of eleven siblings, family was always central to Victor's life. His love, guidance, and faithful example will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2026 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Forney, Texas.
Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Memorial Gardens in Sunnyvale, Texas.
