Victor W. Cook, Jr., 77 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.
Born on November 6, 1948 in Worcester, a son of the late Victor W. and Margaret R. (Salemmo) Cook, Sr. He graduated from North High School and attended classes at Quinsigamond Community College. Victor worked as a courier for the Massachusetts Turnpike for over 50 years before his retirement. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, loved watching his daughter play softball when she was young and traveling to Aruba and Las Vegas.
Victor is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Christine E. (Rauktis) Cook and their daughter, Jacquelyn Cook of Shrewsbury. He was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Cook.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 10 am to 12 noon with his funeral service to begin immediately at 12:00 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
