Victor "Vic" Crognale, 91, of Camp Hill, passed away at his home on Oct. 31, 2025, surrounded by his children. Born December 25, 1933, in West Fairview, Pennsylvania, Vic was the second oldest of five boys born to the late Donato & Domenica (Ciccocioppo) Crognale. He is survived by his daughters Denise Cochran and her husband Dave, Susie Mostert and her husband Brent, a son Daniel Crognale and his wife Wendy of Camp Hill, and brother Joseph Crognale, of West Fairview. In addition to his children and brother, he is survived by his seven grandchildren: Logan, Nicole, Luke, Katie, Jenna, Nick, and Mia, along with one great grandchild William. Vic was preceded in death by brothers Thomas, Michael, and John, nieces Lisa and Mary Beth, and his grandson Ethan.
Born and raised in West Fairview, Vic moved to Camp Hill in 1962, raised his family and continued to live there until his death. Vic was a USAF veteran during the Korean war and was stationed in Germany, specializing in electronics and communications. His career was in the telecommunications business starting with Western Electric and finishing as Operational Director with AT&T. Vic and his brothers built many homes in their early years, including his family home in Camp Hill. In his youth, Vic was a talented baseball player around the West Shore area playing for Lemoyne High School, West Fairview and Enola Twilight teams. Vic enjoyed golf, horseshoes, card games, bowling and helping his family any way he could. As life moved on, Vic enjoyed spending time watching his children/grandchildren participate in their community activities and tending to things around the house. He could be seen riding his mower up until the last few weeks of his life. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1462 in Wormleysburg, VFW Post 7415 in New Cumberland and the Mechanicsburg Men's club.
Funeral services will be private, and interment will be handled at the convenience of the family in the Camp Hill Cemetery Columbarium. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
