Victor (Vic) Wayne Holshoe, 68, of Wyoming, Michigan, died in his home on November 2, 2025. He was born in West Branch, Michigan on June 26, 1957 to Victor Frank Holshoe and Virginia Adelle Holshoe, and lived in West Branch until the age of 3 when the family relocated to Wyoming, Michigan. Vic attended Godwin Heights High School before joining the workforce. Vic enjoyed many different jobs and hobbies. He was talented and hardworking, and was very proud of his business, HiRic Installation, where he installed and repaired theater and auditorium seating. Vic often employed friends and family members and shared his joy of traveling through this job. Vic loved Jesus and his family most of all. He was fond of telling people how much he knew Jesus loved him “Just the way he was.” Vic also loved animals, music, singing, fishing, playing cards, and dancing.
Vic was preceded in death by his father Victor (Frank), mother Virginia, and big brother Don Forsythe and sister-in-law Sharon Forsythe. He is survived by his former wife and friend Terri Holshoe, son Richard Holshoe (Jennifer), daughter Heidi Winters (Mark), granddaughters Lily, Brieanne (Josiah), Rosie, Daisy, and Olivia, and grandsons Kyle and Cody. Vic is also survived by brothers Frank Holshoe (Ardella), Jerry Holshoe (Ronnie), and Arnold Holshoe (Chyrel), sister Alice Hamilton (Dan), and brother Robert Holshoe (Maria). Vic has many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends and family who will surely remember a joke he told them.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cornerstone Church on November 23, 2025 from 2:30-5:30PM. 1675 84th St. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316.
Donations to the Humane Society of West Michigan, https://www.hswestmi.org/, where he would often take his grandkids, would be greatly appreciated.
