Victor E. Jadack, age 95, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at The Waterford of Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. William Menzel will officiate. Entombment will be at Forest Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
Victor was born April 23, 1928 in the Town of Carson, Portage County, Wisconsin to Elias and Helen (Harmacek) Jadack. He attended a one room country school from first through eighth grade and graduated from Rudolph High School in 1947. He was united in marriage to Betty Johnson on October 29, 1955 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
Victor worked as a milk hauler from 1947-1951. In 1951, he enlisted in the United States Army and served active duty until 1953, later transferring to the Army Reserves, receiving honorable discharge in 1956.
Victor worked in the Converting Department at Consolidated Papers Inc. in Wisconsin Rapids, retiring in 1990 after 35 years with the company.
He was a beloved figure known for his great sense of humor, humility, and integrity. Victor was a social individual who loved engaging with people and found joy in the small things life had to offer. In his spare time, Victor enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching the Packers. He had a special talent for building barn models to scale, which he often gifted to family and friends. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were admired by all who received his creations.
Victor was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty; his parents; two brothers, Walter and Elias Jadack; and sister, Lillian Fidler. He is survived by many nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Marlene (Dale) Linzmeier; and his lifelong friend, Ray (Maxine) Marx.
The family would like to thank John and Carmen Bramstedt for their friendship, love and care given to Victor.
Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
