Victor Proffitt Obituary
June 27, 1946 - March 22, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Victor J. Proffitt, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Vic passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 78.
Vic is survived by Judith Vetter Proffitt, his beloved wife of 57 years; his children, Stephanie (John) Donahue, Jennifer (Mikhael) Ser, Michael (Tiffany) Proffitt, and Rebecca (Michael) Sharpe. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Katie (Paul) Rockocy, Bridget (fiancé Logan Kocianic) Donahue, Elijah Carey and Jason Ser, Gabrielle and Owen Proffitt, Elizabeth and Andrew Sharpe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas G. Proffitt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 5, 2025, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located at 5856 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614, at 11:00 a.m. All who knew him are welcome to pay their respects and share stories of a remarkable man who lived life to the fullest.
