Victor Salas Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 18, 2024.
Victor (Vic) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday June 15, 2024. He was born on August 2, 1958 in El Paso TX. He was 65 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanca and his father Victor. Victor was a graduate of Eastwood High School, class of 1976 and EPCC with Associates Degree in Data Processing. He worked at Yazaki Corp for 25 years and retired in 2018. Vic was a die-hard Cowboys fan and loved hiking, sporting events, taking care of his dogs, Max, Zoe and Odie. And lots of turtles. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Vic's smile was infectious, and because of that he was loved by all who met him, whether it was his friends, co-workers or brothers in the faith, they all valued the time he spent with everyone. It didn't matter who you were, he would accept anyone. He learned the truth of the Bible and dedicated his life to Jehovah on 04/11/2015 and it made him a better man. His congregation loved him, young and old, and during his last moments, they treasured the friendship they had. He will be missed but not forgotten. As the Bible assures us of the coming of God's Kingdom, he will be back to enjoy the company of his family and congregation once again. John 11:21-27; Rev 21:3,4 He is survived by his mother Rita and brothers: Edward R Salas, David (Isabel), Peter (Irene). Nieces: Kelly (Isaac) Amanda
