Victoria Knight Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Victoria Ann Knight at the young age of 52 passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends. A woman of deep faith, compassion, and unwavering resilience, Victoria dedicated her life to helping others and will be remembered not only as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, but as a guiding light to countless people she welcomed into her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Debi Knight, and her brother Albert Knight Jr. - their memory remained close to her heart, shaping the kindness and empathy she showed every day.

Above all, Victoria loved being a mother. She is survived by her fiancé Greg Yaple, brother Patrick Knight and her children: Elizabeth (James) Brown, Rebecca (Daniel) Zielinski, Harry Foster IV (Kaitlyn), Chelsea Irwin, and Sarah Irwin (Daniel). They were her greatest pride, and she worked tirelessly to ensure each of them felt heard, supported, and loved. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren - Serenity, Brielle, Halli, Dawson, Bentley, Brinley, Lyra and her grandpups Theodora, Tonka, and Greyson - who brought her immeasurable joy and gave her life a renewed sense of purpose.

With an expansive heart she was known for embracing many in need - individuals who found in her the mother, mentor, or safe harbor they needed. Her home and her arms were open to those without one. Her generosity was not loud or performative; it was simply who she was.

As natural caretaker, Victoria found deep fulfillment in nursing and altruism. She approached every challenge with courage, every hardship with grace, and every person with compassion. To know her was to be uplifted by her unconditional love, her stubborn strength, and her belief that every person deserved dignity and opportunity.

Victoria leaves behind a family and community forever changed by her presence. Her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the hearts she healed.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Sunday November 30th from 3-7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Church. Earlier today

I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I did not get to meet her but I know Charles and Kaitlyn. Your mom went out of her way to help my niece when she needed it and I am so thankful for that. She sounded like a wonderful person. She is up in heaven looking down on you and will always be in your heart. You are all in my prayers. Jeana Amos
