Victoria Nitz Obituary
Victoria Leigh Nitz, 75, of Stevensville passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman MI 49106. Memorial contributions may be given to the Berrien County Cancer Service, 3900 Hollywood Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Vickie was born on November 2, 1948 in St. Joseph, the daughter of the late Charles “Manley” and Joan (Cushing) Nye. In 1966 she married Stanley Nitz. She worked at Kmart for over 35 years and was the office manager at RE/MAX Sunset Coast for 15 years. Vickie was an avid quilter and was a member of the Berrien County Quilting Guild.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Stanley; their son, Kevin (Angela) Nitz; her granddaughter, Taylor Nitz; a sister, Julia (Byron) Miller; and four brothers: David Nye, Timothy (Jacalyn) Nye, Christopher Nye, and Kerry (Leslie) Nye.
Vickie was also preceded in death by a sister, MaryJo Nye; and her sisters-in-law: Sandra Nye and Mary Nye.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
