Victoria Keanea May Thompson Tapoof, age 20, of Roosevelt, UT, was killed in a car accident on March 25, 2023, near Magna, Utah.
She was born August 24, 2002, in Roosevelt, to Keno Tapoof and Lois Lenita Thompson.
Victoria was always smiling and was a free spirit. She had played basketball and volleyball for her schools and for a traveling team. She enjoyed music, guitar, singing, and animals of all kinds, especially horses – she wanted to have a farm if she could. She loved her Native Culture and took part in singing and Bear Dances.
She loved her boyfriend, Kindrik Navanick, very much, and adored her siblings. She will be deeply missed.
Victoria is survived by her companion, Kindrik; her father, Keno Tapoof, Roosevelt; her siblings, Waumbin Tapoof, Jerett Lopez, Darius Tapoof, Josiah Tapoof, Halle Tapoof, Roy Phillip Sekayumptewa, Elaina Lopez, Davny Lopez, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by an infant child; her mother, Lois; her grandparents, Rose Lesley, Leonard Thompson, Sr., Gwendolyn Colorow, and Robert Tapoof.
