Vilmaris Burgos Obituary
Vilmaris was born on August 20, 1959, in Rio Pedria Puerto Rico, to Manuel Duran and Maria Guardiola. She later made her home in New Jersey.
Vilmaris had a spirit that was uniquely her own. She loved the thrill of Bingo nights and trying her luck with the lottery, a true gambler at heart. While she enjoyed the excitement of a good win, her greatest jackpots in life were never monetary. Her biggest wins were her grandchildren.
She shared an especially deep and joyful bond with her grandchildren Eric, Nicolas, Bracelynn, Raquel, Samantha, and Ethan, whom she loved tremendously. They were her pride, her happiness, and the light of her life. Time spent with them brought her the greatest joy, laughter, and purpose.
Vilmaris was the mother of Juan, Carlos, David, Rafael, and Alex. She is also survived by her beloved daughter in law Milly, She is further survived by her siblings Carmen, Alfonso, Alex, Tercy and Luis
Vilmaris was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Duran and Maria Guardiola.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday March 7th 2026 from 5pm - 8pm.
Private cremation to follow.
