Vincent James Burti, Jr., 79, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on June 7, 2025.
Born on October 20, 1945 to Vincent Burti, Sr. and Antoinette (DeLouise) Burti in the Bronx, New York.
Vincent Jr. was the devoted husband of Linda Wieland Burti. He was a loving father to Vincent Burti, III and his wife Clare, Christoper Burti and his wife Kelli, Thomas Burti and Ashley (Burti) Clark and her husband Cody. He was a devoted grandfather to Anthony, Gianna, Ava, Nicholas Burti and Oliver Clark. He is also survived by his sister Maria Bunzl and her husband Peter Bunzl.
Vincent spent many years working as an owner/operator in the sanitation industry. Though he loved to mention that he attended James Monroe High School in the Bronx, New York with former New York Met player Ed Kranepool, Vincent was a devoted New York Yankee fan. Vincent loved to cook for family and friends.
Vincent Burti, Jr.'s funeral service on June 12, 2025, was private attended by family members only.
