Vincent W. Cangello M.D.

Today I was sitting at my computer thinking of my life in California and the people who had touched my life. Dr. Cangello was one of those people. My first gyn and my go to doctor and we had a great relationship. I could confide in him and always get scheduled in. I literally trusted him with my life. He was a good good human being and I am so saddened to hear of his passing. I used to kid him regarding the number of kids he had and scolded him saying that is why I couldnt have any because he was getting them all lol. I miss him and that is what made me look him up. Time passes so quickly and I imagine at 93 is life was just so full. I was sixteen when I met him and he had diagnosed my mom and saved her life when everyone else kept saying she had a bladder infection when actually it was her kidneys and by the time she got to Dr. C she had one half kidney on one side and a third on the other. He also delivered my sister. I am now 67 years old and still think of that wonderful man. What a wonderful soul.

I miss you so much Dad. I miss your smile, you telling me to "keep smiling " and even your healthcare lectures. I have so many memories to comfort me. I know you are in the arms of God and finally have your parish.

Surgery by Dr Cangello enabled me to have two wonderful sons. I am very thankful. Years later, I wrote and typed healthcare articles for Dr Cangello which were entitled Healthcare Reform Institute . He was an excellent surgeon and man .

I never had the honor to meet you, Vincent. You raised wonderful daughters and they loved you so! That makes you a wonderful man in my heart. Rest in peace.

He was an amazing and accomplished man. He helped many lives into this world and saved others with surgery and medicine. He travelled the world studying and discussing health care. He is an American success story as the self made son of immigrants. His good work is done. He is at peace.

Dr. Cangello was a dear friend for more than 40 years. He helped me through some very difficult issues in my life. Certainly one of most important people in my life. Honored to be close to him and his family. God bless him and the entire family.
